@zaktakespictures @birding Good timing. We noticed an osprey has been visiting our pond for food and he showed up tonight. The Redwings were all over him, but even with all the noise, he dove from the tree into the pond and snagged a giant carp (goldfish) and then flew off. It was quite impressive. He snagged a snake the other day. We like our Osprey friend!!

I love Red Winged Blackbirds so much. They’ve got no fear at all… I’ve seen them attack hawks, herons, deer, you name it lol. If it’s in their territory they’re ready to throw hands.

Blackbirds have no fear. Nice sightings of both birds.
