Why/how are Xtians even using AI? They scream, pearl-clutch, and moral panic over goddamned everything and call it “demonic” or “unnatural” but they seem to be eating “AI” up without so much as a peep. There was even an AI priest that only got shut down because it claimed it was a real clergy member.

They may not even be true believers. Just grifters. There’s always a market for religious programming for kids no matter how shitty it looks (take a look at VeggieTales when it started before they had a budget). AI is only making that cheap shit more easy to mass-produce.

What are you talking about. Veggies Tales used to look like it did because it’s one of the first cgi series.

Yes, and the technology was by no means ready yet on that budget. It looked like shit. 2D animation would have looked better but what they did was cheaper.

As someone that was forced to watch Christian cartoons from the time, no.

According to quick search, USA is like 63% christian. I don’t think these kind of wacky generalizations apply to most of them. But I do think they’re just as likely to fall for “AI” grifting as anybody else. Thus this video.
