Quite a few people have trouble imagining what pigeons did before humans built cities for them to live in. Someone even said pigeons in trees look “creepy” lol

I refuse to believe pigeons ever existed in the “wild”. Also no cars to shit on? Must’ve had a short life span holding that shit in for centuries til the first Model T rolled out.

They were seaside birds living on rocky cliffs, right?

Although in New Zealand, we have Kererū which is a native pidgeon. Their native habitat is trees, and they do look a bit ridiculous.

I don’t think they were exclusively seaside birds but yes they some species nested on cliffs and such.

Kereru just look goofy full stop though. Although they doing look worse when they’re damn near breaking tree branches.

If I’m walking along—on the ground like a normie—then I see a pigeon in a tree, I’m immediately anxious of being ambushed by highwaymen, zombies, or charity workers. Whatever it is, it can’t be good.

Same with rats, I just imagine them being native to sewers lol

Had a couple as pets, though. Really smart, like very small dogs with some cat behaviors thrown in.

If you have owls in your barn, that indicates that you probably have a mice infestation

Bats, upon the encountering the first human settlement, let out numerous little screeches which roughly translated to, 🎶"Oh we’re movin’ on up! (Movin’ on up!) To the east side. (To the east side.) To a deluxe apartment in the sky!"🎶
