This still seems like a shit deal. Good on them for getting the AI thing settled, but it looks like they gave up everything else. Happy to be corrected on that one.
SAG-AFTRA negotiators have approved a tentative agreement that will end the longest actors strike against the film and TV studios in Hollywood history.
It’s a tentative deal that now must go to a vote. It may not get approved in its current form.
How so? It reads to me like they got everything except for a subset of the ai. I actually think the ai should be done in general law. No usage of persons without consent for any particular usage.
