This piece currently on display in the national gallery of art in D.C. The exhibit is an interesting one on art capturing American life and I felt like this piece fit well.
Woman is seriously pissed at the dog and dude looks like his daughter died. Why would someone paint this.
I mean it’s the painter of that famous Nighhawks piece so he’s not really known for drawing happy people __ I really love this, I think the texture and colours of the trees and field / meadow is really good and it has this weird airy, surreal feel.
Is “not known for it” supposed to be a answer? Why he be like it do?
