    Still can’t get the fingers right

    I’ve generally had better luck with the Euler a sampler on fingers; it’s part of why I use it.

    That being said, the ancestral samplers like Euler a will change an image over time as you add samples – it’s more-complicated than just adding samples and converging on a single image. So it’s a tradeoff.
