Wait, why did it burn?
Probably cause of the liquid that dissolves the wax to remove it from the ear
But they took it from their own ear, not their dad’s ear juice bucket.
Maybe they used the fluid?
That’s a pretty major detail to omit.
I just texted her to clarify on this. Will update when she responds
You’re a monster for posting this! 🤣
thanks I hate it
someone please give me a brand that actually melts your ear and doesn’t just make it wet
Debrox, you use it to soften the wax over a couple days and then use a bulb to flush it out.
Had a doctor recommend that i put the drops in morning and night for ~3 days before coming in for an appt where they flushed my ear
I just use hydrogen peroxide. I first use a paperclip with the one leg bent straight so it forms a hook, scoop out what I can, and then use hydrogen peroxide to dissolve the rest. Works like a charm!
omg dont put a paperclip in your ear
A paper clip in your ear sounds like a great way to puncture an eardrum.
I don’t put the pointy end in…
Basically similar to a device like this.
Precisely!
TechFire NO!
Hydrogen peroxide works great. I have small ear canals so my ears collect a lot of wax and don’t drain. I just use hydrogen peroxide and then I bought what they would use at doctor offices on me on Amazon which is a sprayer thing that has some sort of cup thing you put under your ear to collect the wax. Works wonders
Acid?
Go to a drug store and get some hydrogen peroxide. Mix it with water 50/50. If your ears are really bad, adjust mixture with less water.
Almost threw up.
Til ear wax burns. (I do not have ear wax)
Everyone has earwax to some degree, and it should not burn.
Wax is a description of the solid, and is a name for many many things, so its really good to not conflate different waxes. For instance hot paraffin on sensitive body part can be really exciting in an intimate romantic setting. Hot beeswax can cause third degree burns.
Cerumin or earwax is completely different stuff, and probably not good for anything but the ears.
There are some processed beeswax balms out there (Bert’s Bees was bought out by Clorox, so they may have updated their product for industrial efficiency, but there are still indie products for lip and skin care. Use in moderation unless you know you have a condition and are treating it. Too much lip balm will acclimate your lips to overbalming.
