In case you live in Europe: keep prove of the deletion and if your comments are recovered keep proof of that as well. Under European law (GDPR) you can file a complaint. If a large amount of people claim violations of GDPR Reddit’s gonna have some issues.
@minnieo @tchambers i knew it! I deleted all my posts only to find some of them back a few days later.
I’m not deleting my account until all my content is gone.
That’s why I’m waiting a few weeks before I log back into reddit and start deleting all my old content, slowly and methodically.
Wondering if I should delete, or simply start replacing the text wtih “F*ck SPEZ” and see how long that lasts lol

Yep, I deleted all of my posts and comments yesterday and many are back today.
Somedays Im tempted to go back and edit all my (good, evidence based) advice with bad (common misconceptions, misinformation) advice.
But in my life spreading good information in the sea of bullshit is kind of a big personal value… so I haven’t had the heart to do that.
But I do share the idea in case someone likes it.That is messed up of Reddit.
Come June 30th, I’m gonna start deleting my comments with one of the automated services mentioned here. I was planning on immediate deleting my account too but it looks like I’ll have to wait for a bit.
OP, how did you make this article have an orange gradient in dark mode on mobile?

uh oh , that wasnt my goal. ill try to make it more readable. the background on desktop extends a lot further, so that bright orange doesnt show until you reach the bottom. didnt know it looked like that on mobile
It’s not the post, it’s the magazine. Every post within the magazine will look like this.
i did it through the CSS section of the appearance section of the magazine panel/settings. this will add a basic background with the link you specify:
