The chair pervert! This feels like Cody going to bat for a homie.
Cody and Breeze possibly (given Breeze and Spears both run a wrestling school, and Breeze works as a trainer at the PC).
Either way I think it’s a good place for him. He may be overshadowed (again…again) on the main roster, but on NXT he can be that gatekeeping vet (and if he ends up training at the PC too, all the better.)
Wasn’t in the clip (and I don’t watch NXT) but apparently along with the chair pervert gimmick (seemingly lol) they also referred to him as Shawn Spears not Tye Dillinger which was nice.
Definitely happy for him! I hope it works out for the best!
