Most stories during WA's record-breaking heatwave last month didn't mention the health risks of extreme heat and the link with climate change, despite overwhelming scientific evidence, according to an analysis of how news outlets reported on the event.

    In my town (SA though) we had a similar heat wave I’d imagine. We are a small town that has a few old folks homes now to the point where like a third of the town is now over 60.

    The local op shop put everything 50% off after “an unprecedented influx of quality items”

    No one made the connection.
