I can’t believe they acknowledged the Virtual Boy ever existed. Why they never ported the games to 3DS is mind boggling.
Don’t worry, they still haven’t acknowledged it! This is IGN’s video!
Oh shit! That makes more sense then. Thanks
The homebrew community has ported the games to 3DS with an emulator.
Yes, it’s called Red Viper and it’s great! I’m just surprised Nintendo didn’t do it themselves.
There’s also an emulator for the oculus quest, the moment you launch a game you understand why it wasn’t that successful and why VR was abandoned for a while.
Monochrome games are all good and fun when the screen is not a few cm from your eyes and that’s the only color you can see hahahah
Yeah the fact that this already exists and it is pretty much perfect just makes me think that it is a lame move from Nintendo, even if it was meant to be a joke lol.
April Fools.
Obviously. Even for April fools I’m surprised they acknowledged the Virtual Boy ever existed.
Luigis Mansion 3 has a pretty overt acknowledgement of the Virtual Boys existance. The entire in game menu is in one.

I’ll admit I showed my wife before realizing what date it is
I thought Virtual Boy Pro was what Ben Shapiro’s famously dry wife called him until he paid her to stop?
Stop putting the onus of wetness on the poor woman. She’s dry when she’s with him, but you can’t blame her for that, the man is a human silica packet
You’re right and I’m sorry for any confusion as I very much intended to blame the human silica packet for his sexual ineptitude and general repulsiveness lol
In case anyone actually wants one, that headset is real because Mario Odyssey has a VR mode.
Wait, what? How do we even know it has a VR mode if no Nintendo hardware exists that renders anything but the Labo kit in VR?
The VR mode was added to work with the Labo kit. But these headsets also exist now… because…? I don’t think the Labo was head-mounted, but maybe I’m wrong because I never had Labo.
