have you considered entering after the water warms up
how are you going to turn on the water without entering the shower cabin
put your hand in and turn it on from the outside
My arms arent that long
Have you considered growing longer arms?
Have you considered manning up a little (in a completely gender neutral way).
Alternatively, use a shower umbrella.
Thanks im cured
How fucking massive is your shower that you can’t simply reach into it and grab the handle?
The door is opposite to the actual unit
Aim the shower at the wall, turn it on, get out
Turn it on in the sink, then it may only take like a second in the shower (if you’re lucky with your plumbing layout)

If your hot water line comes from [wherever, in my case the basement] and passes by your shower before leading to a sink, it’s likely that the water by your shower will also be hot once it comes out hot at the sink.

With a rope.
Why would I be inside the shower before the hot water shows up
I turn on the shower at maximum hot, undress, THEN introduce cold back to a comfy temperature and step inside.
Sometimes I take my pants off before my shoes…we are not all the same
Pro tip:
Always max hot water (or hot water only if separate) to warm up shower fastest and save water. It’s a win win.
Turning it 3/4 or something to desired temperature takes longer to heat up and wastes both hot and cold water.

Alex Honnold?
Yes, on the Thank God Ledge, on Half Dome.
That’s gonna be a no from me dawg
The photo is somewhat deceptive. It’s actually angled away from vertical slightly. He’s resting on the wall behind him.
I used to only have cold water up until a month ago and I’d get confused when those cold shower body builder trent went online but yeah now that i’m getting used to it i can see the difference.
Edit : To avoid confusion i used to live in a place with noderate climate and only recently moved .
Where do you live where they just got hot water?
Who just got ? I was just talking about me specifically i ised to live somewhere with moderate climate sure in the winter it was cold but not that cold . Now i have moved states and it is kinda really cold here so .
In Iceland, it depends on the volcanos.

My kitchen sink is really far from my water heater, so I put a 3 gallon electric water heater under the sink. It did the same thing without having to be a new home. Would definitely recommend.
Does the circuit use any water or is it just pumped around and kept heated? Does it use a lot of energy?

Thanks for those details! That sounds like a great system and beats my failsafe of heating a big pot of water on the woodstove

When you build toilet on the side of a cliff so that you can have privy ledges
Why wait even? Cold water is still water.
