With anti-cheat being one of the major things causing games to be Windows dependant, that is hilarious.

I’m just happy I only need to use it on one PC ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Gonna get to enjoy some reg edits on that machine then!
Edit: So I just looked at that machine that is set to take all new updates, and it doesn’t look to be installed like it is for that guy in the video. However, it looks like this machine hasn’t picked up 24H2 yet, which is strange as I thought it was meant to be worldwide now?
MS really can’t make stuff easy.
On my Windows 11 machine I just uninstalled Copilot via the normal app uninstall process. Unless I’m misunderstanding, I don’t think it’s tied into the OS in any fundamental way. I assume most debloating scripts include the step anyway.
Kinda crap that it’s installed by default though.
I’ve installed it on a Chimera machine also via Decky so I don’t think it’s distro specific.
Dictators and twisting/misinterpreting religious texts; name a more iconic duo.
I always feel like an old granny when I read about passkeys because I’ve never used one, and I’m worried I’ll just lock myself out of an account. I know I probably wouldn’t, but new things are scary.
Are they normally used as a login option or do they completely replace MFA codes? I know how those work; I’m covered with that.
*full Ubuntu and you can only install via snap.
If I let my beard get long enough, the neckbeard cowlicks collide and make random waves and spikes stick out.
What’s the catch?
One of my mates has been pinged for it before, but it seems like he just got a stern letter.
I put my setup behind a VPN anyway. Proton hasn’t done me wrong yet.
“They have to get rid of it unless they decide not to.”
I assume it’s just gonna be inherited by Mauritius.
I personally think that anime and manga having a ‘pipeline’ helps them.
A publisher like Weekly Shonen Jump shotguns a load of new series into their comic and sees if any stick.
If a series is popular, then their individual volumes sell well, encouraging WSJ to continue publishing.
After a while, the popular series will most likely be given an anime (which nowadays tend to be very manga accurate), which tend to export better.
If the anime is popular, volume sales increase worldwide, and you have a massive hit.
While this quite effectively creates new popular series, it leads to a massive manga graveyard.
Western comics don’t really have this kind of pipeline and I’m not aware of any WSJ-like publications for new Western projects.
I wonder if we do ever create some form of immortality, if we discover that the human psyche has some kind of ‘wall’ where a person just doesn’t want to live anymore. Not due to health or personal life issues, just that there is a time limit on sanity that we don’t know about.
Yeah it’s a pretty shite situation all around. Will be interesting to follow the US DOJ ruling on the split-up of Google.
Edit: Oops misread the name! Thought this was about Joss 😬
Well, when there’s only really 2 friends available, and the other options are just those guys in different hats…
I see you’re also obsessed with media scrobbling. I fell down the Trakt rabbit hole a few years ago.
Is it much different to something like Pop_OS? I usually hear of Bazzite as a third-party ROG Ally OS.
