I feel this way, posts can be hijacked after becoming trendy to be replaced with ads, or there could be other ways to exploit this. If there was a title in the typo, then it’s easy to delete the post and re-publish it. But what could be use cases of having to edit a post title after publishing? Just add edits in the post body.

I like being able to edit the post title and link. But I think editing the link specifically is a little bit risky. Putting up legit links, then slightly changing them later could be used to phish people.
As for post title and post body, I don’t really care. People could put ads in the post body as well. There’s a tradeoff that has to be made between utility and security.
I would say let it happen for now and if it becomes a problem we can revisit later. AFAIK this should be able to be changed in a Lemmy update, so we’re not forever locked into one option.
