Books, games, movies, youtube channels, podcasts, whatever you’ve got - I’d love some recommendations for anything tangentially furry-related. There’s plenty of cartoons (and I’d be happy to hear about those, too), but in particular, any more adult-focused media would be very welcomed!

I used to be a huge fan of webcomics. Still kind of am, but I stopped keeping up with a lot of comics for various reasons and the internet has changed such that I rarely come across new ones. Here’s a bunch that I still read or remember enjoying in the past:

Slightly Damned - Rhea has just died, but her karma is too low for Heaven and too high to be deserving of Hell proper. She is instead taken to the Ring of the Slightly Damned, a desolate region on the outskirts of Hell where she is placed in the care of the afterlife’s most incompetent demon. While it’s not technically a furry comic as none of the characters are based on specific animals, a large portion of them do have anthro-like forms. Rhea herself is a “jakkai”, a 3’ tall semi-bipedal furred creature that looks kind of like a Raichu with big ears and a prehensile tail.

Freefall - A sci-fi story about an anthro wolf “biological AI” starship engineer and the alien conman that stole her from cryosleep to fix his ship. Mostly comedic, but takes place in a hard-science setting and tackles complex topics like AI rights and transhumanism.

Out-of-Placers - Kassen, a human war refugee from a faraway land, is struggling to start a new life in a city inhabited by a variety of intelligent species. Among them are the yinglets, silly little ratbird creatures that are derogatorily referred to as “scavs” by the human population. A chance encounter results in Kassen being mysteriously transformed into a female yinglet, and now he must struggle with his new reality while powerful figures move to take advantage of his unique situation.

Housepets! - Imagine a world where all the animals are anthros but dogs and cats are still kept as pets and treated kind of like small furry children. Starts out as a silly slice-of-life comic but eventually tackles some of the problematic aspects of that premise as a much bigger story begins to take shape.

Twokinds - I’m not sure there’s a furry on the internet who hasn’t heard of this one. A fantasy story about an amnesiac human who falls in love with a tiger girl.

Ozy and Millie (Completed) - It’s basically a furry Calvin & Hobbes. The tomboyish red fox Millicent drags her best friend, an introverted zen-practicing arctic fox named Ozymandias, into all sorts of crazy trouble.

Mynarski Forest (Discontinued) - A very old comic about the animals of a Canadian forest, focusing on a troublemaking vixen and the rabbit she adopted for being too pathetic to eat. This was one of the first webcomics I ever read and it holds a special place in my heart. Sadly it went on permanent hiatus many years ago with the final strip being something of a cliffhanger, but I remember having some good laughs along the way.

Ooh, this is great! I’ve read Housepets and Twokinds (as you note, I doubt there’s anyone who hasn’t heard of Twokinds), but I was not familiar with the rest - though I recognize some of the characters from (what I assume to be) fan art. I’ll give these a read - thanks for the recommendations!
