minus-squareP34C0CK@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up36·10 months agoIf Die Hard is a Christmas movie then so is Die Hard 2. Yet the sequel never gets brought into this debate by either side 🤔
minus-squareMossy Feathers (They/Them)linkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up28·10 months agoI still cannot believe that the full title for the home release of that movie was Die Hard 2: Die Harder.
minus-squareMrMcGasion@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up8·10 months agoThat’s what made the late 80s/early 90s cool. Nothing had to make sense, it just had to sound cool to 7 year old kids, and executives coked out of their gourds - combining to make the unlikeliest demographic.
minus-squareMossy Feathers (They/Them)linkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up5·edit-210 months agoMemphis Design was also popular in the 80s-90s, and is sometimes described as Bauhaus meets Fisher-Price. I wonder if there’s any coincidence there.

minus-squareMossy Feathers (They/Them)linkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up8arrow-down1·10 months agoNo. Probably something that sounds even sillier tbh, like “Die Hard 2: the harder they fall the harder they die”

minus-squareThe Picard Maneuver@startrek.websiteOPlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up16arrow-down1·10 months agoDie Hard 2 is great, and it has O’Brien in it! (Oh wait, I’m not in Risa right now)
minus-squarelugal@sopuli.xyzlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up11·10 months agoI honestly never watched Die Hard, but a movie that seems to be about suffering with O’Brien, well it’s a match
