I personally think that the mr2 Spyder is underrated but I don’t want more people to look at it because I don’t want the price to go up any higher before I buy one.
That being said, a reason I think it’s underrated is because it’s one of the best handling cars that you can buy at any price. It’s probably also the cheapest mid engine car that you can buy. It’s also one of the last true featherweight sports cars. And it’s got Toyota reliability.
Another good one is probably the Mitsubishi Station. It’s potentially the last cheap fr sports car that hasn’t been hit with the drift tax, and it looks cool to boot.
I absolutely agree with your opinion, I mean due to its characteristic features it is not for nothing extremely popular as a track day missile.
And besides, I think that most of the people who don’t like the spyders are also usually the people who say that object a or b “isn’t like the original anymore”.
