    To be fair, it all but requires being a high ranking politician or member of the military for one to become one of those things, especially dictator, and those kinds of positions have not exactly been very open to women until very recently. Wikipedia does have a short list of a few female war criminals though: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Female_war_criminals

      Thanks for the link! Really interesting that the vast majority is rwuandan descent, while the remaining 4 were Nazis or colloborateurs. Any idea why there are so many rwuandans?

        I don’t know, but if I had to guess, it’d be that the Rwandan genocide was comparatively much more recent than most, so there’s more opportunity for us to learn about the specific people involved than some historical incidents where that kind of specific evidence might have been forgotten. It could also be that whoever was putting that list together was more knowledgeable about what happened in that country than they are of other events.
