You know, I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed a character death in an RPG where someone did not ask, “So, they’re dead dead?” Like, verbatim. It’s funny how universal that terminology is in RPGs while being completely nonsensical in almost every other context.
Yeah… I try to just use “unconscious” or “dying” for the lesser, 0hp variant, and the ‘failed death saves’ kind still calls for the use of “dead dead” to avoid confusion…
