Hi, I have been looking for some slightly lower traffic places to chill at and learning about lemmy and similar communities has been neat :) about 10 days ago I saw someone post about it as a reddit alternative, and I said I was surprised no one had set up a furry one yet. But here it is now connected just a few days after that!!

I am not 100% sure how this whole subcommunities of subcommunities works but it doesn’t seem that complicated. I haven’t been very social the past year while recovering out of some things in my life so I am making a concerted effort to be more social. Feel free to dm me if anyone wants to talk!
