I used notion before, as context and I like how it’s just regular markdown, nothing fancy. It puts the focus on the text and not what it looks like.

I also like that it’s free and that I have the files on my computer, (and on github in my case)

Huh, this is interesting… I usually use obsidian, but have recently moved to Notion for Dungeons and Dragons campaign development.

I really enjoy notions database centric system for DnD. I like that fact that i don’t have to remember to push my changes to GitHub, as i often move PC.

My only problem with Notion is the lack of extensions/themes… Almost everything i use is in the Catppuchin mocha theme (even my windows)… But for the love of God, i can’t get it to work on notion

But hey, knowing my ADHD-ass brain, I’ll be using a new note system soon

Imagine notes, ok, now imagine notes that are super ez to link to each other, so you can have your own wikipedia of your life or any topic, and you can also make the notes small, and suddenly you can navigate any topic that you think about and build on ideas super fast and become an information dragon with an enviable hoard of growing knowledge and self-reflection

Brought to you by the Zettelkasten gang

that and graphs and an enormous plugin marketplace for anything you could imagine

and everything is plaintext! you truly own your stuff
