I’m not a pro, i planning to get into learning more about Ai after the summer. But since it’s a new community I’m going to post a tutorial I followed couple of years ago, it really helped me understand some aspects of Ai and I still find it beautiful. Its not my work though, I just followed the tutorial step by step.

I’ve seen this on behance! I’ve definitely added your work to my inspiration pile! I’m jealous, I never get the chance to designs like this. Hat’s off to you, this is some serious work/skill to get the balance right- let alone the tedious linework.

This was the most enjoyable illustration I’ve made, illustrating food in general is pretty fun since it’s organic. Most of my illustration tends to be travel/train related for freelance/side work and for my full-time it is usually split between infographics/interpretive/mural type illustration. I can’t complain, it keeps things fresh.

The graphic novel that got cover blurbs by four people with something like seven Hugo nominations between them.

It took about four years. There is one spread near the end that took about six months; you will know it when you see it.

It is utterly impossible to get anyone to read now, as it is entirely designed around horizontally scrolling a screen the size of the tablet, and every single site/app trying to consolidate all comics readers into their own corporate silo is focused on vertically scrolling a phone screen, and there is no way in hell I am going to reformat all this very landscape-oriented multi-track stuff for that.
