E.g. I like the Cinta because its super pretty and has an interesting firing mechanic even if its not the strongest.
Shedu if fits my style nicely… maybe not always aesthetically but my gameplay style. It’s a launcher, firing explosives but it does so at pinpoint accuracy so you can readily get headshots.
Feels so nice to use. Feels so painful to get though.
Vectris. i just wish snipers were good
Syanapse
Although that weapon is crazy OP and nobody uses it
I love bows; specifically the Dread and Daikyu. Sending enemies flying, along with the crisp headshot sound, is just so satisfying.
Better yet when you hit a small train of them.
Not a weapon, but a type: I love blade and whips. They’re cool-looking, and the stance feels good.
I have a soft spot for my Paracesis with the chroma deluxe sword skin. It’s fun to just swing a big slab of metal around and see red numbers pop off.
Verdillac with Mag is silly fun. Put a vortex on a guy and fling gas orbs into it to clear a crowd.
Trumna is my favorite primary, even if it’s technically not as good as a dedicated AoE weapon. When the alt fire headshot crits just right, oooooo it’s great. Sepulcrum’s good too, but its alt fire is a harder to use than “point and shoot”.
I really like using the Battacor for its looks and versatility.
As for melees, nothing beats the Ohma for me. I just really like tonfas.
Before Incarnons came out and power crept everything, I was all in on crafted weapons. Kitgun primary and secondary, and Zaw melee. My favourites are 1h Balla, which I still use in preference to incarnon melees, and both variants of Gaze. Paladin, Basilisk and Butterknife. Secondary Gaze is still one of my all-time weapons.
It’s easy to feel attached to crafted weapons given the grind for Star Amarast and the fact that you can name your own weapon after assembling it.
Penta with tether grenades augment, there’s nothing like trapping a bunch of enemies in a doorway as they try to run at you, and then just with a single press of a button scattering them across the room
Convectrix. Death by 1000 cuts. Need I say more?
