Welcome to the very first episode of the Feature Highlights for Cities: Skylines II!Roads are the backbone of your city and our first episode focuses on just...
I mean it was about the road tools so I’m not surprised that it was car-centric. Although I think I saw some kind of pedestrian bridge at around 0:08 and 2:26. It also looks like pedestrian roads are making a comeback. (at 0:08 left side of the video) So I wouldn’t worry that much about that.
The new tools look absolutely great. I like the new system where I won’t have to put down pipes and electricity myself. Also yeah the roundabout tools look great.
I’ve also noticed that while the cells are the same size, 8m x 8m the price of the two-lane road is less than in CS 1. In CS1 one cell of two-lane road is 40$ while in CS2 it seems to be 19$. Which makes me wonder what changes they did to the whole economy.
But overall yeah, good changes. And can’t wait to see what the 4th and 5th feature reveals will look like.
