“I can’t believe people I’m intentionally antagonising are downvoting me”

Dude, your original conversation that the prior post was about was in a vegan community and specifically on a post about how vegans can’t discuss veganism in peace in the vegan community. Regardless of which side of the veganism debate anyone falls on, you’re acting like a dickhead.

Maybe stop stirring the pot? At this point it really just seems like you’re the problem here with how petty and antagonistic you’re being.

You’re intentionally picking on a group of people whose only crime is electing not to eat what you eat and you’re indignant when they don’t appreciate it?

Most people “making a funny” about vegans are at the same level of humor as conservatives joking about lgbt+ folks. There’re like 5 “jokes” that get parroted which weren’t even funny in the first place. If you’re gonna joke about it at least be actually funny

I used to make fun of vegans too, now I am one. Othering a group of people might seem like fun, but just make sure you try not to think too hard about their position. I think you’ll be ok though.

Without context, I do think this post is funny.

If the context people are mentioning is true, then yeah you were asking for it. FAFO, right?

However, I do keep having issues having a real conversation about how it’s too difficult for me with my circumstances to have a vegan diet, and surely I can’t be alone in that circumstance. Or that I think that veganism is a bit of an unreasonable stance to expect from others. The focus should be on a reduction of animal products made by using abusive practices and supporting anyone’s effort to reduce that by any amount. If you are able to be whatever level of vegan, that’s great for you. Yet, I get nothing but hateful responses. So, it is clearly possible that a person with no intent on being a dick or trying to stir the pot to receive an excessively negative response.
