I’m glad to see this opponent didn’t make it out. Ending the season with the death of the first of the gods is a great way to end it. Those final moments with Senta were tear inducing, Yuzuriha gave him a sweet farewell. As for Gabimaru, I’m not a fan of memory loss as a plot device. They are in enough danger as is without adding it to the story. I hope it won’t last long.

Overall, I enjoyed the series. I watched episode 1 on a whim when it came out and was interested enough that I stuck with it. I look forward to a season 2 someday.
