Personally, I’m quite hyped to see the new MH game and I think we might see a reveal later this year!

I’m relieved that the Rise era will finally be over, and I’m excited to hear about Monster Hunter 6 sometime in the next few months, but I’m also a bit worried.

Hopefully they’ll bring back slower, weightier gameplay, get rid of all of the counters and anime power fantasy moves, and incorporate more hunting into the next entry. Since World was so well received (and sold so well), I’m cautiously optimistic that MH6 will be a return to form for the series.

Even so, I’m a bit worried that Capcom will continue to court causal button-mashing action gamers at the expense of the core fans of the series, and I’m also quite worried that Capcom will go even further with their unwelcome monetization of an already full-price game to the extent that I’ll have to boycott the title, though hopefully it won’t come to that.

    TL;DR: relieved and cautiously optimistic

I enjoyed most of MHR but never finished it because I hated the rampage mode, never played world would you say it’s worth dipping into or I could get generations ultimate?

September can’t come soon enough to be honest. 20th anniversary is coming up too so I feel like this is going to be the biggest MH yet. Imagine a Pokke Village reunion? A “Pokke Mon” collab? FFXVI? Some side quests with MH Stories?! I better stop I’m getting hyped and I might be setting myself up for disappointment lol

I hope to see a ton of older monsters like Lagi boi but I think I can also trust Capcom with whatever new monsters come out. Nergi, Velk, and the Malzenos are such amazing additions

I loved MHR and the environments especially made me nostalgic, but I’m definitely anticipating what comes next. Whatever it is, I’m expecting to be surprised. Crossing my fingers for a reveal at TGS
