Crews will rebuild tracks from late July through early October, and the Racine stop will be temporarily shut down for reconstruction. The CTA will operate shuttle buses to help riders get around.

    Really excited for this to be done as the train travels super slow through this area. Should improve speed along the entire line once this is finished.

      Yeah the west branch is a brutal slog most of the time, it’s so painful seeing cars in traffic going by faster a lot of the time. A really overdue project!
