When you’ve got nothing to do but be cruel

They have looked at the previous conservative government in Australia and decided it was a great way to do things. Although this arsehole has gone next level.

Charlotte Khan of the refugee charity Care4Calais said: “If Mickey Mouse is too ‘welcoming’ for ministers, the question is what will they replace him with in order to inflict more fear on traumatised asylum seeking children – Maleficent? Ursula? Maybe even Cruella herself? The real villains in this sorry tale are Robert Jenrick and the rest of this heartless bunch that call themselves ministers.”

If they want a villain, put up a picture of the minister who ordered this.

This puts Britain to shame. How does this person sleep at night? Maybe he doesn’t and spends the time thinking up more horrendous ways to demonise human beings in order to satisfy their paymasters. One imagines that Braverman is currently saying “hold my pint”… More decline in my once great nation.

Have to remember this is the party that has a “hostile environment” policy to deter asylum seekers, they aren’t shy about their aims.

The real test is have they replaced the murals with non-copyrighted alternatives to avoid the wrath of Disney, or was this just an exercise in dehumanising children.

A fair question, and one I don’t have an answer for, but I’d think if’n copyright was the problem, they’d just replace it with something else that’s in the clear.

I don’t believe for one second any citizen believes this is a good use of time or resource. Absolutely ridiculous.

Taxpayers paid for the art to be put up, now they get to pay for it to be taken down. Yep, good use of tax pounds.

Apart from this piece of garbage, who by the way took the time to think about and execute this awful directive, I’m genuinely sad at anyone in the general public who will read this story and think that it was the right thing to do
