plastic or (galvanized) metal tubs are great! You can wash dishes in them as needed, and find tons of uses for them when you’re not washing dishes. If they’re plastic, you can put them in the tub, fill 2 of them with water, add soap to one, then wash in the soap and rinse in the plain water. When you’re done, just tip them sideways to empty them down the tub drain. Works for a shower too, but probably a lot more cramped.
