Image transcription: Screenshot
A wide crop of a screenshot zoomed in on r/place’s pixel canvas, where a white on black pixelated font reads:
never forget what
was stolen from you!
r/save3rdpartyappsWith the slogan boarded on the right by the r/blind logo (a snoo wearing sunglasses, holding a cane, standing next to a guide dog). The small
p.d
logo for programming.dev is squarely tucked above and to the left of RBlind’s snoo. Lastly, boarded along the bottom is a row of third party Reddit app icons, from left to right:- Apollo

I’m a human volunteer content transcriber and you could be too!
6: Joey for Reddit
Somewhat off topic, but what app are former Joey users using for Lemmy? I loved the compact mode in Joey and Thunder is the one I like the most so far, but it’s still missing a few bits of info
I’ve been using liftoff but honestly have been looking for another option, so thanks for the rec I guess 🤭

Hey, how do I join you guys? This reminds me a lot of r/TranscribersOfReddit. I know they had specific standards for transcription (such as how to handle images, maybe?), and I’m not sure if there is an established community with standards, or if I just see an item and go off with a transcription. I’m not a former Transcriber Of Reddit but I did always think it was interesting.
Not sure there’s anything officially formed just yet, but you could checkout what the former transcribers for r/TranscribersOfReddit are up to:

Not sure what 11 is in the OP screenshot, but it’s now Slide on place.
5: Infinity for Reddit
I do think it’s kind of stupid to continue to spend time on the platform that, like most other platforms, uses metrics like time spent on the platform as a measure of audience retention to gauge consumer interest. Vote with your precious attention span. Just stop using reddit.
Luckily most of r/place is bots, hopefully advertisers know this

Isn’t it nice being able to correct titles.
