And then when they showed up, they could have redirected the reporters to like a nearby park or something, but they just stuck to it.
Conservatives aren’t able to admit fault of any kind. It’s just not part of their DNA (which they don’t believe in).
If a conservative learns they are wrong about something, instead of correcting themselves, the conservative will lean into the error and insist they were never wrong.
