Yep. Pretty much. There is a clearly define deference between the politician’s agenda, and the voter’s agenda. And that difference is belief. The politician doesn’t believe the bullshit. They’re selling it for votes.

The voter DOES believe the bullshit. Any they’re clearly buying it for the promise of safety.
