Just had an argument with a “Born Again Christian” who doesn’t want Tampons for free in the women’s bathrooms, because they should be purchased by parents and were personal care.
When I said it was just like toilet paper, he said “the toilets are unhygenic and they need wrapping” or some nonsense. Apparently plastic sealed tampons aren’t ok, but unsealed toilet paper is perfectly fine in public bathrooms. I also found out unsurprisingly, he is a trucker (here in Australia, it seems like the Truck community is causing 90% of the problems)
