lmao I’m sorry I am 100% for gun regulation but this some big boomer energy and NOT the way to appeal to youth. If the intent is to say “Hey, we have no idea about what you are into but we are pretty sure we know better than you. Go to your room! No video games for a week!” then it’s probably working.
It’s just absolutely bonkers that they’re using a gun game to campaign while disallowing gun use. You may as well partner with the NFL and then ban tackling, or host a Monopoly game while banning money.
And I don’t think gun control is even a campaign promise. Just shows either lack of forethought or lack of understanding from their campaign
Is the average fortnite player of voting age?
A majority appears to be:
62.7% of the Fortnite players are from the age group of 18 to 24.

It’s not just a kids game, has been around for long enough (seven years) and has enough staying power that even many of those who started playing it as kids are now adults. Personally, I never cared about it, but that’s because I stopped playing multiplayer shooters a long time ago, not because I feel like I’m too old for this.
Us Millennials and GenXers are old now. :P Fortnight used to be a kids game, because GenZ were still kids. Now they’re adults, and Fortnite ain’t a GenAlpha game.
Man that is hilarious. I’m full on liberal don’t worry, but I’ll always think it’s funny when politicians try to get down with the kids. It always ends so terribly. Just… Stock to issues they care about, okay?
Right, like maybe talk about women’s rights?
Whatever campaign project manager set this up needs to take a step back.
That is straight up horrifying.
Ban real guns, not Fortnite guns.
i know the kids hate all that genocide that i’m doing and planning on continuing to do, but maybe i can win them to my side if i make fortnite boring?
Seems like most violence follows the guns in Fortnite…
