I ran an errand today. Beside the door to my destination, there stood a woman holding a hand-written sign saying she was a single mother of four children and was struggling to pay rent. I didn’t give her anything on the way in, but on the way out I handed her a $20 bill.

It wasn’t much. Less than I could have given her. Not really enough to make a dent in my life in any meaningful way. Perhaps I should even have given her more. But I gave her some money. And I hope that helped her.

In return for the bill, she bade me “God bless you.” I just said “you too” and mused to myself on my way to my car.

See, part of what inspired me to give her the money was something the occultist, Lucifarian YouTuber Behemoth X said in a video about secrecy. He said there was great power in it. In keeping your demonolatry practices secret, yes, but not just that. He suggested donating to a soup kitchen or some such and not telling anyone. I’m not sure I would have given to this woman had Behemoth X not come to mind when I saw her.

And here she was invoking God. And we all know which one she meant. I wasn’t offended or threatened. Just amused. I think the demons I work with would be too.

As for the secrecy bit, well, I’m sharing it here, so clearly I’m not keeping it strictly secret. I do plan to keep it secret from everyone I know, however. And I’ll count my pseudonymity here as still in some sense “keeping a secret.”

Demonolatry isn’t about being an asshole. Do yourself the favor of doing others a favor sometimes.

Ave Satanas.
