Laid-back episode. The narration is a nice touch and Hiro imagining he’s being interviewed is funny. And the bombshell of the episode, just who exactly is Fujishiro-san?
Before the reveal, I thought he’s a retired Yakuza boss who’s basically made it, then decided to work at a convenience store to live a quiet life.

I really liked the reveal at the end. Early in the episode I had thought it was going to be a Fujishiro-focused episode, but then we didn’t really see him most of the time. Then, it turns out he has been the trusty narrator this whole time. I honestly thought that maybe hearing voices was some kind of symptom of whatever is wrong in Tsunehiro’s head and that the narration was going to end up with him collapsing or something. It would certainly have been a dramatic reveal of his illness with his friends, but I like that we kept things chill.
