Just a general thread about running. How’s your running going? What are you training for? Did you get new shoes? Sporting an injury etc.
Went on a run for the first time in a month after a bad sprained ankle in early October. Really hoping I’m in the clear and don’t wake up limping tomorrow because it felt great to get back out there.

New Parkrun for me this morning. Along a creek, looks nice, trying for an easy run today.

I went on a longer run this week. It felt really great. I’m torn if I should continue using a tracker. I’m just so tired of data and this incessant pressure to track everything. But at the same time I want to get better and data would definitely help.
There’s no need to look at the data now, but it can help in the future.
When I’m feeling discouraged, I look at my resting heart rate trend over the last 6 months, and my vo2 max trend, and it convinces me to keep going
Finally recovered after an injury. The weather is cooler and running is feeling good again!
