Nintendo recently hosted an investor relations event for investors to ask Nintendo questions about some of their plans for the future, and someone asked why female Splatoon 3 inklings/octolings are receiving ‘preferential treatment’. It’s apparently causing a lot of drama on Japanese Twitter, and Shintaro Furukawa interrupted their question to say it was too long and stated thanks for their opinion.

Also they get to go home early and aren’t forced to sing Karaoke with the boss every night like the rest of the Salarymen/OL’s at Nintendo.
Look, I’m no Inkophobe, but ever since they showed up, some folks jobs have gotten harder, and I’m not really sure what is it exactly they’re suppose to be doing at the office. I mean what exactly is a “Freshness Coordinator” anyhow?
