      Baldness in men is seen as a failing somehow despite it being largely uncontrollable.

      Him getting his hair done to feel more attractive and like himself is affirming surgery.

      You are not wrong that anyone can get hair restoration and any human type can have hairloss. Male pattern baldness is another category.

      The thing people are saying this is about him modifying his body to be happier but trying to deny others the ability to so so legally.

      I think sometimes folks just go overboard and end up making what would be valid points into easily dismissed statements. Given our societal norms, hair would be more gender affirming if an individual is presenting as feminine. A better example for men would be treatment for low t.
