Give them a nuke back. Them relinquishing theirs assuming good faith by the Russians is half the reason this mess started. If they get one back it makes a push for total control of Ukraine an existential risk for Russia.

Edit: Before someone points it out, yes I’m being wildly naive, let me dream about a good outcome a little.

The thing about nukes, they don’t work by themselves. There needs to be a delivery system, and that’s basically a discount space industry, there should be the whole detection-response infrastructure. And if that’s on the table, I’m pretty sure Ukraine will be better off recieving all that in money, conventional arms, and troops.

      Granted.

They don’t have to actually get the nuke back.

Everyone just has to think they did. The idea is just as much a weapon as the bomb itself.

The old squirt-gun pistol routine, lol.

I was a grunt not a rocket scientist so serious question: do we have missiles they can load in the old Soviet silos or would it have to be a SCUD situation?

Either way, giving Kyiv a giant middle finger to wave at Moscow on the way out would be an epic mic drop moment for Biden.
