Taking bets on when Trump flops back to banning TikTok again now that President Muskrat will benefit
I’m going to move all zero of my videos on TikTok over to X right after I don’t create another account on there.
TikTok has been DNS blocked (pihole) in my house for years and will continue to be whether it’s owned by someone in the US or not.
Wish I could easily block Reels, YT Shorts also. Short Form video is an ADD crock pot IMHO.
YT shorts can be blocked (at least visually anyway) with the Untrap for YouTube extension. It also lets you modify many other settings, such as hiding comments, view count, the channel name, individual buttons, etc. It’s quite good. That and SponsorBlock are the real heroes.

It cheekily reminds me of the fact that long after it became irrelevant Yahoo was famous for having an excellent best practices document for web dev (this was pre doing every fucking thing in javascript)
