    And this is why the democrats keep losing. I’d much rather Harris won the presidency but the DNC has adopted a fair number of GOP stances.

    There are still important differences of course - but there are a lot of view points that are simply unrepresented in American politics outside a handful of people like AoC and Sanders.

      That’s because the Democratic party has been conservative for decades, regardless of the bullshit they’ve been saying. The only “liberal” parts have been some social stances for over 20 years. As soon as economic issue come up its been full speed ahead for whatever businesses want.

        It’s not a conservative party, it’s a big tent party. At this point the only broadly accepted party line is ‘sanity.’

        Far-right manipulation is so effective that they can reasonably compete with everyone else combined.

          Far-right manipulation is effective, but even more than that is how the DNC offers no viable alternative. And no, their rightward shift and status quo economic policies are not a viable alternative. This depresses voter turnout on the Democrat side and results in the GOP winning election after election.
