AEW is back in Toronto for the final show before Forbidden door!
Some of what weâll see tonight includes:
âRicky Starks & CMFTR vs. Ass boys, Switchblade, and a well-rested Juice Robinson
âWe hear from Miro
âBrody King takes on Andrade
âKevin Kelly in a rematch against Andradeâs last name
âSwerve vs. Tanahashi
âNyla Rose vs. Willow Nightingale
âChristian addresses the TNT title
âPowerhouse Hobbs in action
âDarby and Sting reveal who their partner will be for tomorrow
âŠAnd more! Will there be an appearance by Okada? Someone else? Only one way to find outâŠ
I think itâs hilarious that Christian is holding onto that title and not letting Luchasaurus hold it.
Hobbs to BCG next please, they need a big monster and he needs to get away from QTV
Yeah, I like QTV but theyâre too much of a comedy act for Hobbs. He looked like a million bucks last night.
Crowd seemed pretty evenly split for/against Punk at first. Sounds like theyâre mostly against him now.
Really good show. Collision has a really good flow so far, I hope it keeps up.
I, much like that crowd, am conflicted by CM Punk but I canât help but be enthralled by him, just like I was as a kid watching him, so screw it, Iâm into it. Especially if he eventually goes full-heel.
Really pleased to see Bullett Club Gold get the win here - the right call for sure. As somebody whoâs been a shameless Guns fan since before they figured it out, to see them looking like absolute stars nowadays is awesome.
Forbidden Door card is so ridiculously stacked, and thatâs coming from a person who typically has zero interest in NJPW, super jazzed for tomorrow.
Agreed. I love Collisionâs pacing so far. And theyâre doing something Iâve always wanted AEW to do: using their superstars more than once per show. Like, that quick promo with CMFTR at the beginning was great. The stars of the show pull casuals in and tell them why they should stay (the main event). Itâs something WWE does well but AEW needs to work on (IMO).
And I feel the same about Forbidden Door. Canât wait for Omega/Osprey.
Thatâs a very good point. I had never thought specifically how much I miss that but yeah stars throughout the show, and more specifically, storylines that pop up and advance multiple times per show, are huge in making you feel like youâre really getting into a show and making it feel must-watch.
Happy Jay got the pin and about time The Gunns officially joined the Bang Bang Gang.
Damn, Brodyâs cannonball (whatever you call it) looked insane.
Since no oneâs mentioned it yet: I thought Scorpio Sky looked great. That was probably one of his best promos in AEW.
Kevin was so close to saying take-a-shit-a there lol.
Poor Tanahashis knees.
Also đđđ of course MJF does a pretape
I canât wait for Swerve vs. Tanahashi. I feel like itâll either be the main event or the match that starts the show.
Give yer balls a tug titfucker
