Like I said: while the pastor may not be blameless, the real crime here is that these people are in this situation in the first place! There should be accessible homeless shelters, or better yet, homes! They shouldn’t have to resort to sheltering in a church against zoning regulations that could be potentially dangerous! Cause honestly? If I were in their position, I’d make the same choice, and it’s fucked up that they have to!
But it’s also fucked up that this church and the people representing their court case are abusing the homeless’ plight to further their agenda of making it so that the church is above the law! Quite frankly, both sides fucking suck and they’re just fucking the homeless from different ends.
