How are they defining office vacancy, having less people commuting to downtown and more people touring around seems like a good thing

Sounds like Milwaukee, along with Columbus and Omaha, may have simply had more people return to their worksite since Covid started. Blue collar workers, a long with many white collar workers, need to be on site and don’t have the option to WFH
@quicksand @hukaulaba The larger employers in downtown Milwaukee (folks like northwestern mutual) are starting to mandate that people work a certain number of days per week from the office. That makes a difference.
I was just at downtown employee appreciation week lunch at Schlitz Park yesterday and I was a little surprised how many people were there. I would put it at a few hundred.
