We realize that most Americans didn’t vote for Trump (only 49.8%) and that most of those who did probably didn’t understand what tariffs are and how they work and we realize that Trump’s action and our response are going to hurt poor Americans, and poor Americans in red states more than others, but we’re not going to take illegal tariffs sitting down.

Just a reminder who Trump is pissing off.

I’ve actually not done that, but it’s such a cliche at this point that I wonder if some foreigners that buy it either have complete misimpressions of Canadians, or think that either there are more Canadians than Americans or that they just travel a heck of a lot more… 🤣

In any case, given the loud and abrasive, slobby and entitled Karen behavior of so many Americans, can you blame other Americans for not wanting to be associated with that kind of person when they travel?

I sure as hell don’t. You should probably be flattered, honestly.

No, because much more of you act like that than you realize. Most of you are not the “one of the good ones” you think you are, and then people abroad associate that behaviour with Canadians.

Yeah Americans act distinctly American. Super lame to smear Canadians by pretending to be one. We are not the same. I’m well traveled and anywhere I go it’s painfully obvious who the Americans are. Even smart ones are brainwashed into thinking the US is the center of the world and it shows in all of their mannerisms

Like half of America voted for Trump. We are not the same people
