toldinstone is such an awesome channel. I have one of his books on my shelf. It’s nice that there’s a few channels about Roman history that don’t come with that fucking weirdo pro-authoritarian ‘nostalgia’ for living under a pre-feudal empire that a lot of Roman history ‘fans’ want. Mike Duncan is another good one.
