      In Texas, if you have a contract with the state or a school district, you have to sign a contract where you agree not to “boycott israel” whatever that means. So I guess if one was to “boycott israel” while taking money from the state of Texas, that could be considered an illegal boycott.

        As performative as that is, it’s just bizarre to imagine as a business having to ask “if I just happen to have not had any contracts with Israeli entities am I in violation of my contract with this random rural Texas county’s public works department?”

        That feels like the government placing limits on the rights of corporations to express political views, which SCOTUS has stated is illegal (if you define speech as campaign contributions, which it does).

          Not just corporations, but also individuals with a government contract and may also apply to government/school district employees
