Since the players of the human class collectively grew a society of trade we eventually ended up at capitalism, and I don’t think it’s gonna change soon.
I would also prefer a system that values it’s players time more and gives better quest rewards, but capitalism needs plenty of game rules to make it a worthwhile system, and the players of the [senator] and [representative] guilds are not really incentivized to make it so.
So do what I do to farm gold using the [go to work] side quest is to just abuse it. I go there and do the quest, but since it is a mostly timing-based event, it’s pretty easy for me to play other minigames (like lemmy) while completing the actual side quest.
My guild leader is happy with the results, I am happy with the rewards, and I don’t constantly feel the need to rage-quit the game.
